Koondee Woonga-gat Toor-rong means ‘To Give Together’ in the Woiwurrung language of the Wurundjeri Nation. The name is reflective of the relationship and partnership between the First Nations community and Philanthropy Community. It is also a reflection of KWT Fund’s beginning as a community called ‘Toward a Just Society’ who transitioned into KWT Community Fund in 2018.

KWT Community Fund has two Community Grant rounds open each year in March and in August.

Our grants are open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members residing in Victoria. Our community grants support projects or initiatives from individuals, community groups, social clubs and gathering places.
